Neda Ferencic Vrban

Neda has been the Secretary General of the Croatian League Against Cancer since 2011. Currently, she serves as the Head of the working group for increasing response to the National prevention programs, demonstrating her commitment to promoting public health and preventive care.

Her recent roles have included leading the Epidemiology Service’s Epidemiological Surveillance of Educational Institutions in the City of Zagreb at the Teaching Institute for Public Health from 2020 to 2021. At the same time, she led the Heroic.hr project at the Croatian League Against Cancer, focusing on an innovative approach to cancer care by integrating karate and promoting the concept of cancer survival for improved mental health and overall well-being of cancer patients.

Her dedication to reproductive health counseling and her involvement in the Committee for Primary Prevention of Sexually Transmitted Diseases and HPV of the City of Zagreb in 2017 underline her commitment to comprehensive healthcare and preventive medicine.

Neda got her medical education School of Medicine at the University of Zagreb. Her professional journey has been marked by significant roles at the Andrija Stampar Teaching Institute of Public Health, where she served as a team leader for healthcare of schoolchildren and adolescents, demonstrating her dedication to the well-being of the younger population.

Neda is married and has two kids.
